Amidst the Atlantic Forest of Maraú, Jardim das Bromélias was born surrounded by a nature that inspires, welcomes, and teaches us. Living in this place also means recognizing our responsibility to preserve it. That is why sustainability is part of our garden’s daily routine and of the choices we make to care for the space we share with our guests. These are actions that help reduce our impact and keep alive the connection between our home and nature.
Energy from the Sun
Jardim das Bromélias has 30 solar panels that transform sunlight into energy for the villa. It is a choice that makes use of one of the greatest gifts of our region while contributing to a more conscious operation through a renewable energy source.
From the Earth, Back to the Earth
Here, organic waste also finds a new path. Through composting, we transform part of what would otherwise be discarded into fertilizer to nourish the garden. In this way, what comes from the earth returns to it, enriching the soil and contributing to the growth of the plants that are part of the Jardim das Bromélias landscape.
Sorting to Transform
Care is also reflected in what we choose to discard. We separate and recycle the waste produced at the pousada, seeking to give materials a more appropriate destination and reduce the amount of waste sent for disposal. Our guests can also be part of this movement. Small choices during their stay help build a more responsible relationship with the place that welcomes us.
